Position Overview: We are seeking a Corporate Security Associate to join our team and help maintain a secure and safe environment for our operations. The Corporate Security Associate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our facilities, employees, and assets while ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

** Please note this is a 24/7 365 Operation. All Holidays, inclement weather, and snowstorms you are expected to work**

SHIFT TIME: DAY SWING OR NIGHT shifts available

Status: Full- time (onsite)

Compensation: 17/hr

Responsibilities:

• Monitor access control systems and surveillance equipment.
• Conduct regular security patrols to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate actions as needed.
• Secure the premises during non-operational hours.
• Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update security protocols as necessary.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
• Act as a first responder during security-related incidents, including medical emergencies.
• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct security assessments and inspections.
• Manage and monitor access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Issue and revoke access badges as required.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents and provide reports to management and relevant authorities as needed.
• Participate in investigations related to security breaches or violations.
• Monitor and verify security practices of vendors and contractors working on-site.
• Ensure they comply with security and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control.
• Strong understanding of local and state regulations related to cannabis security (if applicable) or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform security-related tasks and respond to emergencies.
